wake up - Ann Aarat (New single)
Released on 13th June 2025, “Wake Up” is the first single from her upcoming 5-track EP, set for release this August— a surprise drop she’s been secretly planning ever since her sophomore release, “Stay Awake”.
Born from her deep love for sound design, vocal production, and a desire to experiment within limitations, this project is especially close to her heart. Ann has been focused on crafting an entire album made solely from vocal samples — transforming her voice to mimic instruments like drums, guitars, bass, and synths. Paired with field recordings and built entirely using Ableton’s stock plugins like Simpler, Sampler, Operator, and Wavetable, the challenge of sculpting entire soundscapes and compositions from these minimal elements has been both thrilling and deeply personal for her.
While the full album has proven to be a time-intensive, intricate process, Ann decided to release this 5-track EP as Part 1 of the project — offering listeners an early glimpse into the sound world she’s been building. And it’s only the beginning — she’s already teasing a follow-up extended EP for 2026.

PORTAL - Taceō
The song 'Portal' is an exceptional fusion of Electronic and Afro-beat music. It's uniqueness comes from the way it sounds up-beat while yet asking to consider the simplest things that could make the world a much better place. The quest for a prospective gateway to travel to another dimension in order to find a new life, expecting it to be the answer to the problems in the present world. It's music has a strange way of deftly slipping into the song's drop and when the drop comes, it will undoubtedly have you grooving until you break a sweat.
We - Taceō [debut single]
Capturing the unique feeling of love, "we" is a mellow yet weirdly euphoric song. It's about having found that thing or person that possesses the power to either hold your mind and soul in sync or break it apart altogether. It's one of those songs you'd want to play in your car to relax & unwind with the fluid-like music, yet a tight groove and the vocal harmonies that touch your soul. The sombre voice texture and the ethereal music radiates a sense of exhilaration.
