The Junkyard Party is an immersive, multi-sensory experience produced by Ann Aarat and Ellie Holliday, two boundary-pushing artists who fuse experimental sound, raw visual art, and underground rave culture into one electrifying night. This project lives at the intersection of installation art, immersive sound design, and high-energy nightlife — transforming unconventional spaces into wild, otherworldly playgrounds.

At the heart of The Junkyard Party is a deep creative partnership: Ann Aarat leads the audio direction, crafting a dark, textured, and hypnotic soundscape that fuses industrial, experimental electronic, and atmospheric club sounds. Her compositions aren’t just music — they’re environments. Meanwhile, Ellie Holliday steers the visual identity, designing visceral, surreal installations and projection works that envelop the audience in glitching, dystopian landscapes and kaleidoscopic light.

While each artist takes the lead in their respective medium, the collaboration is deeply integrated. Both Ann and Ellie are actively involved in shaping every audio-visual aspect of the project & set design, ensuring the sound and visuals are in constant conversation, building and responding to each other throughout the night. Their mutual vision is to create an environment where music isn’t just heard, and visuals aren’t just seen — but where both collide and consume, immersing audiences in a living, breathing space.

The evening begins with an installation-led, sound design-based event production — a series of evolving audio-visual installations and experimental performances that invite audiences to explore and lose themselves within the curated chaos. As the night deepens, the energy escalates into a euphoric high, with carefully curated DJ lineups and hypnotic lighting design that turn the space into a full-throttle, underground rave.
